The Tufted Duck is another venue I haven't ventured north to in a while, and then I had two weekend trips in a row, starting with Jodie and Rob's big day.
Everyone was asked to stand by the registrar as Jodie entered the ceremony room, everyone except one gentleman did. This man was hiding from the fact he had flown all the way from America to surprise his niece on her wedding day. Only after Jodie and Rob tied the knot and headed for the drinks reception did this extremely friendly and happy man make himself known to the couple. He was welcomed with open arms and you can see a shot of the reactions below.
Grey clouds loomed but we made it, just, and it only started to drizzle as we made our way back to the hotel after a stroll, or should I say skip, with the newly weds down to the beach. I didn't ask Jodie and Rob to skip, they just felt the need to, and I loved the spontaneity of these two lovebirds!
Rosie and Ross, Jodie and Rob's two children, played a big part in the wedding, along with many other children who were invited along to join in the fun, and I hope these photos help them remember this day when they are older.
